Product Description
Many clients have trust on us and our products. The Geocomposite we bring forth to the market is highly appreciated by our clients. It is usually a HDPE (high density polyethylene) geonet with one PP (polypropylene) Geotextile heat laminated. Our professionals in the making of geocomposite, utilizes two over crossed strands at sixty degrees, whose geometry develops channels with a high flow capacity, together with under pressure and at very low grade. This kind of geosynthetic offered by us finds use in many applications mainly for protection, drainage and filtration. Some of the applications of this geocomposite includes water reservoirs, landfill cappings, new landfills, trams and other trafficked areas, horizontal drainage in embankments and platforms of roads, railways, etc.

Features:
  • Geocomposite is quality tested before sent to customers
  • It has fine finishing
  • It has high flow capacity
  • It is known for longer life
GEOCOMPOSITE

Maharshee Geomembrane is an only manufacturer of multilayered Geomembrane in India and has  the largest market in Geomembrane. The company has further added Geocomposite plant in 2012, which is a testament of its latest technology and high performance levels. We feel pride to announce that we are ONLY ONE manufacturer of innovative product like GEOCOMPOSITE in INDIA.

Geocomposite:

Composition :- Integration of Geomembrane, Geogrid, Geonel and Geolextile

Geomommang:

HDPE Geomembrane is mainly used as impermeable layer for checking leakage and seepage in civil engineering structures, such as lining, pond lining, land fills, cut off trench tunnel, drainage, etc., in maximum extend.

(1) Light in nature, easy to transport and instal, flexible, chemically inert, microbiological attacks resistant, impermeable to liquid and gases and increase the velocity for reduction in canal sectional area given to the smooth slope and surface.

Geonet:

Geonet reduces gravel bed, slurry seal and perforated pipe network. Drainage Geonets of 016 mm and 8 mm have similar capacity drainage water as a graded sand layer of bulk quantities i.e. a few hundred mm thick and presents high pore pressure development on the slope which gives an efficient flow line.

Geotextile:

Geotextile layer at base acts as filter that doesn't allows occurrence of clogging and prevention of the fine from interfering with the drainage lines. The permeable layer of the geotextile gives the protection to geonet and geomembrane against puncture from sub grade aggregates.

Benefits of Geocomposite:
  • It can work as drainage, impermeable and filter layers, at some extent.
  • It allows simple and fast working in no time, given to the light weight, flexibility and easy transportation.
  • It reduces the cost of construction as well as the thickness of the concrete lining, given to the reduction in excavation, gravel bed and perforated pipe network.
  • A thin later of geocomposite can replace a much thicker layer of drainage.
  • Geocomposite has a better tensile strength and which is why can easily resist soil pressure on slopes and distribute concentrated forces, while preventing the development of local shear failure condition.
  • It can enhance the canal capacity of discharge.
  • The controlled quality results in better filter function.
  • Geocomposite is ideal for reinforcement in the drainage application for a complete solution for slope stabilization.
  • A canal can be protected with only a drainage layer as it eliminates the pore water pressure. This is because the seepage causes water logging in the surrounding area and the underground water develops pore water pressure during empty canal condition, that damages the lining.
  • Geocomposite delivers resistance to chemical and biological degradation.
  • It is applicable in landfill sites, tunnels, canals, metros, water reservoirs, etc.
  • It gives puncture resistance, given to the multi layered composites.
